Andrea Guedes has over 25 years of experience working in development in the Education Sector. Ms. Guedes was

part of the Eastern Europe and Central Asia education team, working as both a team leader and team member in various projects and has worked in several other regions as well. Prior to joining the ECA team, Ms. Guedes worked extensively in Latin American and the Caribbean region, covering a large array of social sector projects in various countries. 

Andrea Guedes has an undergraduate degree from American University and a Master’s degree from Georgetown University. Although she has lived in Washington, DC for many years, she is from Brasilia, Brazil.
